ZIEM is engaging various stakeholders on Energy efficiency and financing of energy through pro poor pubic private partnership.
Water & Air Polution
ZIEM is currently implementing a project in Chambishi, Copperbelt province of Zambia, called musakashi water pollution project. The catchment river has been polluted by the effluents from the mines in the local area.
Climate Finance
ZIEM has been running a project on Climate finance through tracking climate finance in flows into Zambia from both Government and private sectors. This project has received a lot of attention and audience at international level.
Solid Waste Management
ZIEM has been running a project on Solid waste management in Zambia for the past two years. This is the advocacy programme aimed at building critical mass in solid waste management.
Sustainable Development
ZIEM have been participating on Conferences on sustainable development including the RIO+20 conferences in Brazil that took place last year in Rio de Janeiro.
