The objective of capacity building is to Strengthen CSO and Communities to participate in Social Protection Policies and Programs. The intended outcomes of this program area are to increase the calibre of CSOs and other key stakeholders advocating for Social Protection. The other objective is to increase the capacity of communities to enable them demand for their rights and become joint advocates for Social Protection programs in the country. This has strengthened the public’s oversight role for government implemented Social Protection programs by increasing the competence of CSOs, communities and other key stakeholders to hold government accountable for social protection.
