As part of Mulumbo’s activities to impact communities, the organization is involved in mentoring community based organizations that are just starting or expanding their ECCDE service provision. This is in order to build their capacity to grow to levels that can accommodate many children in their centers and that the quality of ECCDE is of good standard. Mulumbo also helps these organizations through exchange programs aimed at increasing the quality of care givers and teachers. The overall purpose of this capacity building is to enhance the quality of ECCDE being provided by these community based organizations.
