How do ECCD Programmes work?

They are holistic and promote a combination of nutrition, health care and education to help improve the young children's welfare and development.

ECCD is inclusive, builds on indigenous child-car practices, respects cultural and ethnic linguistic diversity of children and integrates children with disabilities and special education needs.
